Our History
Welcome! Beachtails was created from love in 2007 after spending time in Michigan with our two Norwegian Elkhounds, Zoey and Nora. Our search for high quality food, treats and toys drove us to create a special haven in Michigan just for dog and cat owners so they could experience quality on the West Coast of Lake Michigan. We strive to provide some of the safest, most environmentally friendly, ethically made, and well-designed goods for dogs and cats available. Whenever possible, Beachtails seeks out handcrafted products made in the USA that withstand heavy use and encourage spirited playtime. Beachtails is located in New Buffalo, Michigan, the gateway to Harbor Country – a place considered a summer and winter playground for people and pets alike. Today our dogs, Grace and Callie, are the new taste, chew, spa and nap testers of our products, taking over from where Zoey and Nora left off. When visiting the area, please stop in to say hello.
